Gracias a cada persona del equipo que ha hecho que pareciéramos una piña, que hacia que llegara al rodaje corriendo con una sonrisa y con los bolsillos llenos de chocolate y azúcar para repartir en cada descanso 🤭.

Con muchas ganas de contar todo lo que ha sido esta aventura.

Here it goes. My first movie as a stills photographer & making of and my first poster.

This 2024 has given me the chance to step into the world of cinema, and I want to announce that I'm coming in strong. ☺️

Thanks to every person on the team who made us feel like a tight-knit family, who made me rush to the set with a smile and pockets full of chocolate and sugar to share during every break 🤭.

Do we remember in color or in black and white?

Do we remember in color because we’ve seen a vibrant photograph? Do memories have color all on their own?. I’m not sure, but what I do know is that sometimes the simplest moments are the ones I cherish the most. A simple gesture of lying down or sitting on an empty beach, watching a sunset, or even something that should go perfectly, like walking in a lovely outfit along the shore, but then the waves unexpectedly drench you, turning it into an unforgettable memory just because it happened in a way you didn’t expect.

Or simply remembering how you can enjoy a delicious burger in the back of your car and feel pure happiness.

What memories will you treasure?

¿Recordamos en color o en blanco y negro?

¿Recordamos en color porque hemos visto una fotografía vibrante? ¿Las memorias tienen color por sí solas? No estoy segura, pero lo que sí sé es que a veces los momentos más simples son los que más atesoro. Un simple gesto de tumbarse o sentarse en una playa vacía, ver un atardecer, o incluso algo que debería salir perfectamente, como caminar con un precioso traje italiano por la orilla, pero luego las olas te mojan inesperadamente, convirtiéndose en un recuerdo inolvidable solo porque sucedió de una manera que no esperabas.

O simplemente recordar cómo puedes disfrutar de una deliciosa hamburguesa en la parte trasera de tu coche y sentir pura felicidad.

¿Qué recuerdos atesoras?

Sometimes I find myself surprised by how accustome

Sometimes I find myself surprised by how accustomed I am to the beauty that surrounds me. This life has made me appreciate Destination Weddings even more, especially when they are very intimate.

The idea of escaping to another country, far from home, with your best friends or just your partner, to embark on an extraordinary adventure with a promise of love as the main event, reminds me of young Romeo and Juliet or secret marriages in the woods that I used to see in movies when I was a child. I associate it with youth, that freshness and spontaneity, that reckless passion that made you feel alive.

Although I have never attended a wedding of a friend who decided to escape to another corner of the world, I have been fortunate enough to experience it as a photographer. In those intimate moments, I feel like part of the group, part of the adventure. It’s a small gift that I deeply appreciate.

Today we celebrate the romantic adventure of @mollypcmcjones and @wtfmcj , featured in @togetherjournal . An Australian couple who crossed the world to get married in Mallorca, accompanied by their three best friends (plus the videographer from @kiwo_estudio and me). Their ceremony took place amidst nature, in the hills of @belmondlaresidencia , surrounded by rocky coves and moonlit pools.

Why do we love to celebrate so much? It’s an interesting question, isn’t it? Celebrating life, love, and good news gives us a burst of energy and allows us to step away from our day-to-day responsibilities.

In those moments, we let go of our inhibitions and truly express ourselves. There’s something powerful about being surrounded by others who are also embracing the joy of the moment. We connect on a deeper level, free from our masks, and it’s in that space—often accompanied by music—that we truly feel alive.

It’s a reminder that when we celebrate, we not only honor ourselves but also create a sense of belonging within our communities.
Celebration transcends cultures and languages; it’s a universal language that brings us together.

As the great Ferris Bueller said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

So let’s keep celebrating—big or small—because every moment is worth it! 🎉

𝗢𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱'𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀:

I realize that I’m a case of nostalgia personified. It makes me think that youth is a time full of freshness and spontaneity. I remember those days I could be led by impulse, where every decision was a leap of faith, and every experience a new discovery. In youth time is never-ending, each moment lived without thinking about tomorrow, as if life were a series of on-going adventures.

But with maturity, you gain new perspective. We learn to value each moment, to treasure moments that really matter. Good laughs, deep conversation, shared silence. With time we understand that each second is a gift, and that we should choose carefully how we spend them.

Maturity shows us that moments aren’t infinite, that we have to create memories that last. And with that, even though we long for the freedom of youth, we embrace the wisdom that comes with time. Because each stage of life has its beauty and it’s in the union of them where we find the real meaning of life.

✨ After 15 incredible years in the wedding industry, I am thrilled to say that I feel a deep connection with cultural weddings. I proudly identify as a multicultural wedding photographer, and I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself in these beautiful cultures.

Recently, I had the immense fortune of capturing my first Nigerian wedding, and I say “first” because I know it won’t be the last. The vibrant colors, the rich culture, the infectious energy, and the exhilarating dances, all of it fills you with emotion, igniting feelings that surge from your core and compel you to express them as a witness experiencing it all for the first time.

I am deeply thankful to @jeannepenn & @folarinlap for allowing me the creative freedom to interpret their story through my perspective, using analog photography.

I know it often requires immense trust and patience, waiting in the moment to load the film every time the rolls run out, and it also means waiting for the final results without knowing what to expect. But that uncertainty makes the connection you experience in those moments all the more special.
