Estas fueron las primeras palabras que nos contó Jess:
“Mi novio es alemán :). Lo conocí cuando teníamos 11 años en la escuela. Primero fuimos amigos del mismo grupito y con 18 nos hicimos novios. De enero a abril de este año nos fuimos a pasear por Nuevo Zelanda y Australia. En Sydney después de más de 8 años de ser novios me propuso casarnos en un parque con un “prívate picnic” en frente de la Skyline de Sydney. ¡fue mágico!”
Jessica te conquista en un segundo en cuanto la ves hablar con su dulce acento mexicano. Después de vivir tantos años en Alemania puedes ver una mezcla entre su carácter mexicano y su gusto germánico por la organización y los timmings. Tobi te entra despacio, pero a buen ritmo. Siempre educado, dispuesto, un galán clásico que recuerda a un joven Paul Newman (defensor de sus ideales y casado 50 años con la misma mujer)
Una pareja méxico-alemana y su boda en tres idiomas. Comenzar paso a paso, con una ceremonia muy íntima en el castillo de Schloss Ahrensburg, y un posterior paseo en barca por el lago de la Alster.
La boda era al día siguiente, en la St. Michaelis Kirche de Hamburgo. De ahí nos fuimos junto con todos los invitados a pasear en un barco por el río de Hamburgo visitando la Elbphilharmonie (donde se vestían los novios) y la Speicherstadt. Un paseo de 1,5 horas en el barco, disfrutando la ciudad y los alrededores hasta llegar a Ballsaal Süllberg Hotel Hamburg, la finca al lado del río, situada encima de una montaña con unas vistas preciosas.
Una de las cosas más bonitas de mi trabajo es ver y aprender del amor. Y cuando lo ves, te llega a través de cada poro. Gracias por compartir con nosotros este fin de semana y dejarnos ser parte de ello. ¿Qué mejor que terminar con Frank Sinatra?

«Shiny happy couple in La Habana»
Elena is pure light and, according to her, rather than see the glass half full, she prefers to fill it. Javi and his bright blue eyes, since childhood he is known as «Happy».
With such a presentation, it is not surprising that they chose Cuba as the perfect place to get married because Elena and Javi could perfectly be a «Shiny happy people» … in Havana.
All this light and joy, pushed them to take love one step further, making their wedding a Cuban experience for everyone: The experience of knowing the Cuban roots of Elena, from the moment they decided to marry in the same church in which years ago, their grandparents got married. The experience of living in our own skin (and feet) the Cuban flow in 3 days of celebration! But above all, the wonderful experience of seeing how love crosses frontiers.
Is amazing to see how there are guests coming from different parts of the world to share that moment of happiness … but in this case, all of them were from different places! I could say that 99% of the guests were from anywhere, except Cuba. And there we all were, some of us working, others as guests, but aaall of us … enjoying their particular Cuban party, celebrating and spreading love all around!
It is amazing what the energy and positivity of Elena and Javi can do, and the number of smiles that always surround them. But, when a couple radiates love in this way … it receives it in huge quantities!
I always say that the more love you give, the better you are, and at weddings like this I could saw it with my own eyes (and camera), because every time I see these photos I travel back to the beautiful and colorful Havana, living again those three days of celebration of love that Elena and Javier gave us.
